Our History
Rainbow Families Yorkshire was established in 2023 in response to a clear lack of visible, accessible support for LGBTQIA+ families across Yorkshire. Recognising the need for connection, community, and shared understanding, RFY was created to provide a dedicated support network for families at every stage of their journey.
Today, Rainbow Families Yorkshire is proud to be a welcoming, one-stop hub for LGBTQ+ families, including birth parents, adoptive parents, and those considering parenthood. RFY is committed to celebrating diversity, fostering inclusion, and supporting families from all walks of life.
